Sometimes personal issues can affect academic progress. The Washburn Tech University Counselor/Campus Advocate is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist that is available to provide various forms of support, assessments, and interventions for students experiencing personal challenges. All services are free to currently enrolled, adult students at Washburn Tech.

 

Services include assessment, emotional and social support, food/hygiene assistance, referrals to community resources, safety planning and victim's rights information. 

 

The University Counselor/Campus Advocate is located in Student Services North, in Building A, Center. Walk-Ins are welcome for needed assistance and/or services during business hours. For an appointment call 785-670-3100 (choose option 4); 24/7 help or referrals (choose option 2).
