Early Childhood Education, AAS
The Early Childhood Education AAS degree is designed to provide training in the processes and principles of growth and development of children from infancy through six years of age. Emphasis is placed on social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, as well as support services relating to children. Upon completion of the program, students have opportunities for employment as teachers in early learning childcare centers and family child care home sites and as teacher's aides/paraprofessionals in state institutions.

Degree Requirements
