Applied Technologies, AAS
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Applied Technologies degree enables a student to design an individualized program of study to fulfill a unique career goal that cannot be met through the completion of any single technical program. An example is a student who wants to start their own remodeling company and completes a combination of two construction programs (e.g. HVAC, Electrical Technology, Plumbing, Construction Technology, etc.)
Students completing this degree must complete two technical certificates (minimum of 45 credit hours) and a minimum of at least 15 general education courses. This degree will combine into a joint technical program with a focus directly related to the student's career objective. Students will develop an individualized program sequence through a structured advising process with instructors and counselors, to facilitate meeting the requirements for the AAS degree in Applied Technologies.
