The selection and appointment of the Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs is the responsibility of the President. When a vacancy exists, the President will direct the divisions of the College to elect one member and the other major academic units to elect one member to serve as a Search Committee to represent all schools and colleges.

Procedures analogous to those for the selection and appointment of deans should be followed.
